| School teacher shot to death near Baquba |
A primary school teacher was shot dead by a gunman in Khalis town, about 12 miles north of Baquba, Iraq Saturday at 7 p.m., Baquba police said.
The shooting was not at the school, police said.
In central Baghdad gunmen wounded two officers when they opened fire on an Iraqi police patrol in the Bab Muadham district, a Baghdad emergency police official said.
In northern Baghdad, gunmen wounded four officers when they fired on a police patrol in the Shaab and Sleikh neighborhoods, located in eastern Baghdad, the official said.
