Cell phone tops product complaint list
BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese consumers lodged 56,721 complaints about cell phones in the first nine months of the year, accounting for a massive 43.5 percent of total consumer complaints, according to the China Consumer's Association (CCA).

Other home appliances that were the butt of consumer complaints included air conditioners, televisions and computers, said Qiu Jianguo, a CCA official.

He said complaints about cameras, video cameras, health care products and kitchen appliances were also on the up and up.

A total of 130,491 complaints were lodged. Most consumers are dissatisfied about product quality and exaggerated prices.
