| Expo Real Asia 2006 to open in Macao next month |
HONG KONG, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Expo Real Asia 2006, the first large-scale real estate industry conference and exhibition in Macao, will be held from Dec. 4 to 6, 2006, the organizer for the event said here Monday.
According to the organizer, Munich Trade Fairs International Group (MMI), the event is expected to attract over 500 delegates from 20 countries and regions.
Aimed to highlight the real estate investment opportunities in Asia, the conference program will comprise 18 panel discussions featuring over 60 experts with first-hand knowledge in real estate.
"Expo Real Asia 2006 will be the business to business platform for international and local investors, developers, owners, financiers, and property professionals, to interact and to share information on real estate investment opportunities in Asia." Said Ronald Unterburger, managing director of MMI.
"Asia's buoyant economy is attracting international funds into the real estate sector in increasing numbers and Macao currently offers competitive entry into a rapidly reforming economy which isset to benefit from its growing international reputation. Expo Real Asia 2006 is an ideal event to expand business contacts", added Unterburger.
According to Unterburger, an exposition featuring exhibitors from Asia and Europe will showcase master planning projects and solutions alongside the conference.
