Tokyo stocks rise 
TOKYO, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks advanced Tuesday.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 210.37 points, or 1.53 percent, from Monday to 13,953.73.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 17.26 points, or 1.29 percent, to 1,360.05.
